OBSERVATORY TOUR:

  1. The deadline to reserve is 16 hours prior to the beginning of the tour. For reservation inquiry after the deadline, please contact us.
  2. The minimum group to carry out the tour is 15 people. The maximum group is 20 people for the English telescopes (INT and WHT) and 25 people for Gran Telescopio Canarias (GTC).
  3. The Company reserves the right to modify the conditions or cancel the tour due to causes outside the sphere of its foreseeable control or events of force majeure. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE COMPANY: The tour could be cancelled due to weather alert or prealert, landslide or ice on the road, maintenance service in the telescope, or if the minimum group is not reached at the deadline. In this case, you will be noticed as soon as possible (please, remember to check your email and mobile phone on the same day of the tour before going to the Observatory). A reschedule (subject to availability) or a refund will be offered to you. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE CUSTOMER: The customer can request changes or a reschedule (subject to availability) at no additional charge until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, changes requested by the customer will not be accepted. Also, the customer can cancel his reservation at a charge of 10% until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour. Afterwards, cancellations requested by the customer will not be refunded. To cancel or modify his reservation (within the deadline) the customer must send us a written request via email only, indicating the date of the tour, the booking number, his name and telephone number provided in the reservation, specifying his request: cancellation, reschedule (subject to availability) or change the number of participants. In case of changes in the reservation (both by the customer and the Company), the above-mentioned cancellation policy will be applied: the customer can modify his booking until 48 hours before the new date set for the tour. Afterwards, changes requested by the customer will not be accepted. Also, the customer can cancel his reservation at a charge of 10% until 48 hours before the new date set for the tour. Afterwards, cancellations requested by the customer will not be refunded. By reserving the tour and paying the corresponding amount, you confirm that you have read and accepted our Cancellation policy. NOTE: Refunds are made within 7 working days.
  4. We do not provide any transfer service. Own car or taxi is required.
  5. The minimum age for visiting the ORM telescopes is 6 years of age. The guide may request the child’s ID card or Passport. People under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

STARGAZING:

  1. The deadline to reserve is 6 hours prior to the beginning of the tour. For reservation inquiry after the deadline, please contact us.
  2. The minimum group to carry out the tour is 4 people. The maximum group is 15 people.
  3. The Company reserves the right to modify the conditions or cancel the tour due to causes outside the sphere of its foreseeable control or events of force majeure. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE COMPANY: The tour could be cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions (rain, clouds, strong wind, haze), or if the minimum group of 4 people is not reached at the deadline. In this case, you will be noticed as soon as possible (please, remember to check your email and mobile phone on the same afternoon of the tour). A reschedule (subject to availability) or a refund will be offered to you. CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE CUSTOMER: The customer can request changes or a reschedule (subject to availability) at no additional charge until 48 hours before the beginning of the tour.   5. Stargazing is an outdoor activity and it takes place on the mountain, so the temperature can be much lower than at sea level. Warm clothes are required even in the summertime.  We strongly recommend to wrap yourselves up with a wool hat and gloves.
  6. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age.

STARGAZING VIP (PRIVATE TOUR):

  1. The deadline to send the reservation inquiry is at 12:00 on the same day of the tour. For reservation inquiries after the deadline, please contact us.
  2. The tour is NOT subject to weather conditions, even if in case of rain or strong winds the walk will be cancelled.
  3. The maximum group is 15 people.
  4. The payment will be in cash directly to the guide at the beginning of the tour.
  5. Tour not recommended for children under 6 years of age.
  6. Please, keep in mind that it is prohibited for anyone under the age of 18 to consume alcohol.

STARPARTY VIP (PRIVATE TOUR):

  1. Minimum 2 people. Maximum 6 people (same reservation). Personalized and exclusive treatment.

  1. A fixed price will be paid in advance. The remaining amount will be paid in cash or credit/debit card at the Restaurant.

CANCELLATION OR CHANGES BY THE COMPANY: The Dinner could be cancelled due to events of force majeure by the Company Ad Astra La Palma or the Restaurant El Jardín de la Sal. In this case, you will be noticed as soon as possible (please, remember to check your email and mobile phone on the same day of the Dinner). A reschedule (subject to availability) or a refund will be offered to you.
